Material description:

TOILET SEATING:
The material consists of dyed-through thermosetting plastic (UF A 10 = urea formaldehyde) and contains no substances harmful to the environment. UF plastic consists of about 70% urea formaldehyde resin, 30% cellulose and 5% minerals, pigments, lubricant and moisture. Free formaldehyde evaporates during the production process. Pressalit toilet seats have been measured after curing (< 0.01 mg/m³) and emit significantly less than the permissible EU limit of 0.08 mg/m³.

ANTIBACTERIAL:
This toilet seat contains an antibacterial additive with biocide silver phosphate glass, which helps inhibit bacterial growth.

BUFFERS:
EVA (copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate).

DAMPERSET (relevant only for toilet seats with soft close):
Hydraulic damper with stainless steel or thermoplastic damper body, fitted with thermoplastic plastic parts.

HINGES:
Stainless steel and thermoplastic.

Cleaning:
Use a mild soap solution to clean the toilet seat. Make sure the seat and hinges are not left damp. Dry residual water or detergent with a soft cloth. Avoid contact of the seat and hinges with abrasive, caustic or chlorine-based cleaners, as these can cause damage or cause fly rust. Therefore, when cleaning the toilet, ensure that the seat and lid remain upright until all the cleaning agent has been rinsed away.
