Magnum Cable Floor heating

The Magnum Cable is specially designed for installation in cement screeds. The mutual cable spacing determines the power per^m2. This gives you the freedom to install more power (faster reaction, higher temperatures) or less power (for constant or low temperatures). Because the cable is deformable, installation is easy. It can be fixed by Alu-tape to Magnum Isorol and dovetailed sheets or with tiewraps to concrete mesh. Convenient spacer strips are also available for direct mounting on the floor.

The advanced thermostat takes into account the required warm-up time, so your floor is always the right temperature at the desired time. The absence of radiators on the wall offers optimum freedom in interior design.

Sample cable spacing calculations

To calculate the correct cable spacing, divide the number of^{m2 of} free floor space by the total capacity of the set. Multiply the result by 17 (17 = watts per metre of cable). The first two decimal places indicate the cable distance in centimetres.

Some examples of additional heating

500 watt cable on 3^m2: (166 ^W/m2) (3^m2: 500 watts) x 17 ^W/m1=0.102. Fit cable 10 cm apart. 1000 watt cable on 7^m2: (142 ^W/m2) (7^m2: 1000 watts) x 17 ^W/m1=0.119. Fit cable 11 to 12 cm apart.

The cables are available in total powers from 300 to 3300 watts, sufficient for areas between 2 and 30^m2. As the cable is interconnected at the end, there is only a power cable on one side, which is invisibly attached using the unique connection. This eliminates the need for a return to the thermostat.
