A shower seat should be securely mounted on the wall. However, sometimes there are doubts about the solidity of the wall in relation to the user's body weight. Therefore, application of an auxiliary leg set is recommended if the user's body weight exceeds 100 kg. This promotes the distribution of forces across floor and wall. Thus, a shower seat in combination with an auxiliary leg set can support a load of up to 300 kg! (without the support leg set, the load is 150 kg).
The auxiliary leg set is supplied as a complete set, consisting of two adjustable auxiliary legs, including two spacers. The auxiliary legs are connected to each other with an intermediate tube. The height of the auxiliary leg can be infinitely adjusted to adjust the seat height of the shower seat from 420 mm to 570 mm, measured from the floor to the top of the seat.
The auxiliary leg set hinges with the seat, so it does not get in the way when folded up. When folded down, the auxiliary leg rests in the correct position, helped by the spacers.
This support leg set can be used with the LinidoSolutions ergonomic shower seats and can also be retrofitted.
