POLY MAX® FIX & SEAL EXPRESS

CARTRIDGE 300 G CRYSTAL CLEAR SOLVENT-FREE ASSEMBLY ADHESIVE AND SEALANT WITH VERY HIGH ELASTICITY AND VERY FAST STRENGTH BUILD-UP BASED ON SMP POLYMER. IDEAL FOR MOUNTING IN COMBINATION WITH SEALING.

Area of application
For bonding and mounting many building materials on almost all substrates, such as wood, (natural) stone, (gas) concrete, metal, hard foam and various plastics. Suitable for indoor and outdoor applications, such as battens, skirting boards, skirting boards, window sills, boards and insulation materials. Also suitable for sealing joints, seams and cracks in (plastic) window frames, fascias, roofs, gutters, walls, skylights and chimneys. For all professional applications, such as facade and interior building, housing, utility and bodywork construction.

Properties
*Very high, permanent elasticity
*Very fast strength build-up
*Very good filling capacity
*Good standing ability
*Shrink-free; 100% adhesive
*Solvent-free
*No edge zone contamination
*Weatherproof
*Temperature resistant from -40°C to +100°C
*Paintable
*Curing time approx. 2 mm/24 hours

Processing
Preparation
Processing conditions: The temperature of environment, adhesive and materials to be bonded should not be lower than +5°C.
Pre-treatment surfaces: Surfaces must be clean, dust- and grease-free. Ensure firm substrate. Substrate may be slightly moist. Use of primer not necessary.
Tools: caulking gun and Rubber hammer.

Processing
Consumption: For dotwise bonding: 5-8 m²/kg. Streaks: approx. 8-15 metres of adhesive from 1 tube (depending on diameter of cut-off nozzle).
Instructions for use:
-Adhesive/MOUNTING: Cut thread, assemble nozzle and cut to a diameter of min. 0.5 cm. Depending on the weight of the material, apply adhesive evenly in vertical stripes or dots every 10 to 40 cm. Always apply adhesive at corners and along edges. Mount materials immediately with a sliding movement and press or tap firmly. Corrections are still possible. With heavy materials, fix or support as necessary. Close tube tightly immediately after use.
-Sealing: Cut off the thread, fit the nozzle and cut at an angle to the desired joint width. Apply sealant to the bottom of the joint and smooth out within 10 minutes with a wet (water with washing-up liquid without lemon) finger, putty knife or sealant spreader. Smooth vertical joints from bottom to top. After use, immediately close tube tightly.
Stains/Residue: Remove wet adhesive residues immediately with white spirit. Dried adhesive residue can only be removed mechanically.
Points of attention: The drying times below are based on the bonding of at least one porous material and an adhesive layer with a thickness of approx. 1 mm. When bonding two non-porous materials and/or a thicker adhesive layer, considerably longer drying times must be taken into account.

Drying times
* Skin formation time: approx. 30 minutes
* Hand-holding time: approx. 1.5 hours
* Curing speed: approx. 2 mm/24 hours
* Final strength: maximum final strength is reached after approx. 4 hours
Drying times may vary depending on, among other things, substrate, quantity of product applied, moisture content and ambient temperature.
