This makes this material inert, hypoallergenic and non-toxic, 100% recyclable and fireproof (Class 1). It is highly resistant to UV radiation, has a high density and is non-porous. Furthermore, it is hygienic, durable and pleasant to touch because of its velvet texture. Aluite is completely restorable as one can restore it to its original state with a simple abrasive and sponge, even cigarette burn marks can be removed this way. Regular polishing of aluite ensures the preservation of its original beauty, and prevents signs of wear over time.
